Home bot is a private assistant used only by the Itzkowitz family. This policy explains what it does with Google user data.
With the family's permission, Home bot uses the Google Photos Library API with two limited permissions: adding photos to the family's Google Photos albums (photoslibrary.appendonly), and reading back only the photos and albums Home bot itself created (photoslibrary.readonly.appcreateddata). It cannot see or change any other photos.
Photos the parents send to Home bot are uploaded to an album for each child, and a small copy is included in emails the parents send to their own children. Nothing else is done with the data.
Sign-in tokens and photos waiting to be sent are kept only on the family's own home server, and photos are deleted from it once uploaded and sent. Google user data is never sold, shared with anyone else, used for advertising, or used to train AI models.
Home bot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be removed at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
